There’s no better way to tell mom how awesome she than with a thoughtfully chosen card arriving in her mailbox or accompanying a gift. This card is perfect if your mom has an eye for retro embroidery or vintage typography. I’m sure she’ll love hearing from you on her special day just as much as they will this card design inspired by a couple of Victorian era embroidered alphabets.
The lettering on this A2 (4.25 x 5.5) card is letterpress printed using an antique press (dating back to 1909) that is manually operated by a a foot treadle, just like an old fashioned sewing machine. The papaya and purple ink colors were printed individually by hand from a plate that leaves a slight impression in the paper. It’s printed on a beautiful egg-shell colored and eco-friendly bamboo paper stock with a slightly rough finish, giving each card a nostalgic yet impressive feel. Each card is packaged individually in a clear celo sleeve with matching teal colored envelope. The interior is blank so you can write your own birthday greeting.
